Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Sunday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Naga Accord announced by the latter in 2015 and said that it is nowhere to be found till date.
“August 2015, Mr Modi claims to create history by signing the NAGA accord. Feb 2018, Naga Accord is still nowhere to be found. Modi ji is the first ever Indian PM whose words don’t mean anything. #CantFindTheAccord,” Gandhi tweeted yesterday.

In order to end the insurgency in the region, the Nagaland Peace Framework was signed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Isak-Muivah).
Nagaland is to see the polls on February 27.
In the absence of clarity over the Naga peace accord, many of the regional parties have called for a boycott of the polls.
While stressing that “unity of Opposition” would bring forth a “wave of change” in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said Rahul Gandhi was the only alternative to Narendra Modi.
