Countering Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Mai Bhi Chowkidar’ campaign, the Congress on Sunday used #EkHiChowkidarChorHai hashtag to point towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who claims to the country’s chowkidar, to be actually a thief.
The party’s twitter handle tweeted 3 games to spot the ‘chor chowkidar’.
One game involved the cartoon version of Prime Minister Narendra Modi dressed as a thief and the other character was a security guard. There is a prison and both the figures keep passing through the same.
The viewers were asked to catch the thief by pausing the video as soon as the figure of thief gets behind the prison.

The other game was like the odd one out. It had multiple figures of watchman and the one looking like PM Modi had to be spotted.

The third included a maze with three figures of watchman (including one of PM Modi) standing at three different points and a stack of money kept in the centre of the maze.
“#EkHiChowkidarChorHai – the one that leads to the loot,” read its tweet.

First he said that he is desh ka chowkidar. But he failed at his chowkidari, and when questioned he had no answers. People realized that desh ka chowkidar chor hai. And now to shift blame, he says – pura hindustan chowkidar hai. Wah Modiji Wah!#EkHiChowkidarChorHai pic.twitter.com/w647aTVyaE

It's tragic that Chor Chowkidar is pretending to be the custodian of India, when scam after scam happened under his watch and he did nothing! #EkHiChowkidarChorHai pic.twitter.com/FNNXxkwfBk

Yesterday also, the Congress came up with a ‘Main Bhi Berozgar’ campaign countering, again, PM Modi’s ‘Mai Bhi Chowkidar’ campaign. It also released a video showing the stark difference between PM Modi’s claims and the ground reality in terms of jobs.
“Unemployment is the most pressing issue of our time, crores of young people have no jobs & no hope under the current govt. Modi can try & distract them with political gimmicks but the youth of India have one thing to say #MainBhiBerozgar,” Congress tweeted.

The timing of the Congress’ counter comes at a very apt time as PM Modi is all set to interact with those people who have extended their support to his ‘Mai Bhi Chowkidar’ campaign through video conferencing today.
